Nancy, El Presidente
Born in Paris, raised in New Jersey, made is Montreal and currently based in San Francisco, Nancy Ferranti would risk it all for a Yahtzee. Would you? Nancy is a freelance radio producer, interdisciplinary researcher and comedian. She has published work in The Routledge Handbookwork, launched the award-winning podcast Podship Earth, and produced radio pieces featured on air waves and art festivals across the globe. Nancy’s work has been heavily influenced by the inspirational poster that hung in her 7th grade homeroom class, “Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss you'll land among the stars.” The fear of landing in cosmic dust and radiating degenerate matter, which would likely kill her, has motivated many of Nancy’s greatest accomplishments.
Elgin Jackson
Hi. I’m Elgin Jackson. I like walks in the park. I’m a Leo. To most I’m known as baby Barry White, and I just so happen to be a part of the best sketch troupe this side of Canada. ALL CAPS SKETCH COMEDY. I’ve been acting since college, doing scripted works, then improv after college, now sketch. If you like what you just read, check us out.
Lauren Bernal
Lauren is an opera singer whose opera career ended after attending one German diction class in college. After travelling the world for two years, she blindly moved to San Fran where she would quickly learn that no one calls it San Fran. A writer at a tech company by day, she uses the soul-crushing jargon and hideous fleece vests as inspiration for stand-up and sketch comedy. She believes that the cure to anything is a fermented vegetable and a highly-curated playlist.
Ray Sumser, Producer
Ray is an accomplished ‘short personal blurb’ writer and has written over seventeen words in this sentence. He was first drawn to a career in the arts when he realized that no one expects you to be on time. He has worked his way through the various creative media, landing on acting and writing because they require the least amount of material, space and, frankly, effort. Comedy and drama are two perspectives on the same subject and life sucks less when you look through the comic frame.
Elle, Head Writer
As a consequence of growing up in a house of loud talkers, Elle Bogoshian launched her comedy career in the rare moments of silence. Her medium: snotty remarks. As she matured, Elle found comfort in storytelling and was drawn to the ridiculous, like a moth to a firecracker. She has dabbled in improv, stand-up, television writing but feels sketch comedy provides the necessary vitality for the hustle. Elle believes comedy will save us and also her stripper name would be Virginia Woof.
Liz Crampton
Liz believes that life is short and comedy is the answer. She’s studied sitcom writing and stand up but sketch writing is her bag. Liz is English and no, she doesn’t know the Queen. Being a Brit, she drinks copious amounts of tea and likes making fun of Americans. You’re welcome.
Lizzy Riecken
Lizzy is an Arizona State University graduate who was never invited to a frat party. She spends her free time re-watching old reality tv shows, deep diving into pop culture, and ranting about the EXTREME lack of Olive Gardens in the East Bay. Soup is her favorite type of food.
